Gardening On The Brain?

Are you planning your garden yet? I know the snow is still piled on our lawns, but it is time for planning. I got this great email from the USU extension office on a free gardening class.
Here is the email:

USU Cache County Extension is offering free garden and landscape classes in the month of March. These classes are very useful if you are new to gardening and landscaping or just want to brush up on the topic. Class topics will include vegetable gardening, fruit tree management, how to avoid landscaping mistakes, turf care and others. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings and will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. To register or for more information, log onto www.extension.usu.edu/cache/horticulture or call 1-435-752-6263.

USU Cache County Extension is registering for the Cache Valley Community Garden. The garden is located in Hyde Park directly west of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A general gardening plot is approximately 200 square feet and cost $30 for the growing season. A raised bed plot, specifically designed for those of various abilities, cost $10 for the growing season. A $15 refundable cleaning deposit will be charged for both. If you are interested log onto www.extension.usu.edu/cache/horticulture or call 1-435-752-6263.
