The Principal Financial Group is bringing a national minor league baseball festival tour to Salt Lake City on Monday, July 27. And best of all, it's free! The Family Fun Fest will take place outside the main gates of Spring Mobile Ballpark on a night when the Salt Lake Bees take on the Portland Beavers. The festival begins at 4 p.m.; the game at 7 p.m. Principal Financial says there are more than 20 attractions in the festival, including a midway with batting and pitching cages, giant slides, bounce houses and bungee runs.
We always try to pick at least one night each summer with fireworks or a fun event like this to take the kids to a Bees game. We've been to this festival before and it's a lot of fun for children.
