On the first Monday of every month Redbox texts a code to my phone. This is the first month that my Husband and I received the same code. After looking into it, Redbox is sending out just one generic code that is good for everyone. If you have more than one credit/debit card then you can use it once per card. You can sign up for this service at Redbox.com.
