Yummy Corn


As soon as I was finished with work today my good friend Ginger told me that our good friend Liz had 29 dozen ears of corn for us to freeze. I was extremely happy to be shucking, blanching, cutting, and bagging the corn with Ginger and not doing it alone. I think we both thought it would take a couple of hours but it took a bit longer than that. 34 quart freezer bags later we felt very accomplished in our efforts to help provide for our families. Needless to say I haven't had much time for the blog today.
