Maytag Corp. has expanded its recall of Maytag, Magic Chef, Performa by Maytag and Crosley brand refrigerators. A component that turns on the refrigerator’s compressor can overheat, posing a serious fire hazard. Property damage has ranged from smoke damage to extensive kitchen damage.
